Andy Hopper will speak at the far right wing True Texas event in Fort Worth where he will give a couple of Islamophobia based lectures.    When he's not obsessed with gays and trans people, he's Muslim-bashing.  (He still hasn't learned to pass a Wise County water bill, though.)
  
  
  
• They tried him once and ended up with a hung jury, so now prosecutors do this.  They might want to focus on the hundreds of files of regular crime they have in their office. 
  
  
  
• Busy week for cops and DWI arrests.  It occurred in Springtown where he lives.

• Legal nerdy stuff: A couple arrested in a national fraud scheme are being held in the Tarrant County Jail on state charges with bonds of $25 million and $30 million. That is, until the Fort Worth Court of Appeals said yesterday the bond amounts were  "beyond the pale."  The defense lawyer is Gregg Gallian out of Dallas. The lower court judge is Andy Porter.
